remotebox is a remote control application designed for the XDJ-R1 model of Pioneer DJ equipment. This app allows users to connect their iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch wirelessly to the DJ device, enabling remote control functionality. With support for iOS 6, iOS 7, and iOS 8 (iOS 4.3 and iOS 5 compatibility not guaranteed), remotebox offers a range of features to enhance DJ performances.
Users can remotely control the DJ device, browse and select tracks on a connected USB device, create playlists, and edit tracks comfortably using a larger screen. The app also allows for operating effects on an XY pad, direct selection of beats for the AUTO BEAT LOOP function, MIDI control for DJ software, and operation of functions like HOT CUE and SAMPLER provided on the DJ device.
